The course aims to provide the student with the knowledge necessary for correct clinical practice of Stomatology. This practice is essential to correctly frame the patient's oral health and its possible correlations with the general state of health. This objective will be pursued through frontal theoretical lessons in which all the topics present in the program will be treated. At the same time, through the practical training, always assisted by the teacher or a tutor identified by him, each student will be assigned a patient. The final objective is to make the candidate autonomous in the formulation of the medical history of the person entrusted to him, he will therefore have to visit him with an intra and extra-oral examination, compile a medical record, demonstrate that he knows how to manage the situation, decide and evaluate the request of laboratory and/or radiographic examinations, and therefore propose a therapeutic plan without forgetting an in-depth pharmacological history.
