Physical activity is a key factor in promoting an individual’s physical, psychological, and social well-being. A growing body of scientific evidence shows that an active lifestyle significantly contributes to the prevention of chronic diseases, the improvement of mood, stress reduction, and overall quality of life. The research line aims to evaluate the connections between regular physical practice and well-being, considering biological, psychological and social variables, in order to develop preventive and rehabilitative strategies based on physical exercise in developmental age, the elderly and fragile populations.
