The research unit is made up of archaeologists from the University of Messina who collaborate in the management and implementation of the project, a multi-year project of global approach to the study of the city on the hill of Santa Gada in Laino Borgo, the most important archaeological settlement in the Lao-Mercure valley, the Oenotrian, Lucanian and Roman city, and its territory.
More specifically, the group includes professors from the DICAM department of the University of Messina of the SSD L-ANT/04, L-ANT/07, as well Unime PhDs.
