Jean Monnet Module "EU CREW: European Citizenship and Rule of Law: Promoting our European Way of Life"

“EU CREW – European Citizenship and Rule of Law: Promoting our European way of life” originates from the necessity to give a new fresh impetus to the process of European integration as an answer to the increasing nationalisms at Member States’ level. EU CREW is deeply inspired by the President von der Leyen’s priorities for the next European Commission’s mandate. Senior and junior researchers and professors will work on topics related to EU Citizenship and Rule of Law, promoting specialist European studies, targeting students of different Departments of the University of Messina (including those with no previous experience in EU studies). In order to further promote and develop the idea of "A stronger Europe in the World", also Third countries' students enrolled to the University of Messina will be involved in the lectures. Lawyers in private practice, professionals, policy makers and civil society as a whole, will be involved in the other activities of the Module, in order to give a "A new push for European democracy"
