Dr Alessandra TROZZI graduated at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Messina on 10th November 1983. On November 1983 she passed a qualifying exam for Professional Chemists. From November 1985 she attended a PhD. course at the University of Messina and in September 1989 she was awarded her PhD in Pharmacognosy. From 30-09-1999 to October 2006 she was ricercatore (researcher – permanent member of teaching staff) at the Pharmacy Faculty of the University of Catanzaro in BIO/14 (Pharmacology). Consequent to incentives for professinal mobility procedures she transferred at the University of Messina in October 2006 (researcher, BIO/14 Pharmacology). Dr. Alessandra Trozzi wrote 55 articles published in qualified italian and foreign journals and delivered 45 papers at national and international symposia. Her researches are mainly focused on the characteristic of citrus products with particular attention on statistics and specific methods of analysis which guarantee genuinity and quality. h-index: 7 (03-09-2009)
