2007: Specialization in Hospital Pharmacy, Thesis title: "Prevention of cervical cancer: the anti-HPV vaccine", University of Messina, Faculty of Pharmacy.
2003: Ph.D. degree in Pharmacognosy, thesis entitled "Evaluation of the biological activity of natural active ingredients present in olives and olive oil", University of Messina, Italy.
1998: degree with honors in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology experimental thesis entitled "Characterization" in vitro "and" in vivo "of new prodrugs of nipecotic acid ", Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Messina, Italy and professional qualification as Pharmacist.
Main research fields
antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activity of natural active compounds; interaction of active compounds with biological barriers; Toxicity from food contaminants; adverse reactions induced by chemical agents.
