Use of physical methodologies of experimental investigation, such as X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF) and micro-Raman, in the field of archeometry, study and diagnostics of cultural heritage, in the study of the structural and dynamic properties of systems of biophysical interest with particular attention to drug-carrier systems, in the field of physics applied to biomedical problems, and aimed at the characterization and identification of microplastics as the main causes of pollution of the marine environment. The aforementioned analyses are carried out by means of handheld instrumentation that can be used in situ as well.
