Abstract:
The ever growing energy consumptions related to the economical development and the improvement of quality of life determine both cost increases and negative environmental impacts. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce strategies aimed at reduce consumptions maximizing energy efficiency and avoiding waste of resources. Information to consumers is also an important tool to decrease energy-costs and emissions.
Within the household uses, energy label, that is mandatory for European countries, is revealed an efficient tool able to orient consumers towards virtuous choices and to stimulate technological progress with benefits both for economy and environment.
