Pascoli latino per i ragazzi del Littorio

Il saggio mira a indagare traduzioni dei Carmina di Giovanni Pascoli destinate, durante il Ventennio fascista, a bambini e ragazzi. L’ A. si sofferma sulle versioni di Centurio, Pomponia Graecina e Thallusa pubblicate sul «Corriere dei Piccoli» da Ugo Ghiron, e su due riscritture di Centurio e Paedagogium a cura di Gherardo Ugolini, fornendo un primo inquadramento storico-culturale che chiarisca le motivazioni sottese alle diverse scelte testuali. [The aim of this article is to investigate translations of the pascoli’ s Carmina in tended for children during the fascism. The A. focuses on the translations of Cen turio, Pomponia Graecina and Thallusa, published in «corriere dei piccoli» by Ugo Ghiron, and on two rewritings of Centurio and Paedagogium by Gherardo Ugolini, providing a first historical and cultural framework that clarify the reasons of differ ent textual choices.]
