Abstract:
One of the treatment options of advanced ovarian cancer is the combination of cyclophosfamide and cisplatinum or carboplatinum. Platinum compounds and alkylating agents are rarely responsible for hepatic toxicity. We report a case of a rare manifestation of hepatotoxicity in a patient treated with carboplatinum administered at standard doses.
