Studio delle capacità attentive mediante prove computerizzate in soggetti in età evolutiva con Epilessia idiopatica e disturbo dell'apprendimento (A study evaluating attention abilities by computerized battery in children with epilepsy and learning disabilities)

The aim of the present paper is to study attention abilities in a group of children with idiopatic or cryptogenic epilepsy and learning disabilities. We used a computerized battery of tasks measuring the attentive abilities. We found that the children with epilepsy could not be distinguished from controls in attentional tasks. The results suggest that the epilepsy syndrome not always is associated with attentional impairment.
