Il gruppo si propone di usare modelli teorici e calcoli computazionali per una migliore comprensione della struttura della materia; specialmente in presenza di oggettive evidenze sperimentali. In generale, ci proponiamo di utilizzare modelli microscopici e/o stocastici al fine di descrivere le proprietà strutturali, termodinamiche e gli equilibri di fase di sistemi che appartengono al campo di studio della materia soffice (soft matter) e dei materiali fluidi e polimerici.
