The research activity of Pharmacology group, headed by Prof. Cuzzocrea and Prof.ssa Esposito, is aimed at identifying new potential pharmacological targets for pathologies in which inflammation is mainly involved, such asneurodegenerative diseases, traumatic and ischemic pathologies using in vivo and in vitro models. It is also involved in identifying new molecular targets and therapies for solid and hematological tumors.
