CESARONI Fabrizio

Since December 28th, 2018, Fabrizio Cesaroni is Full Professor of Strategic Management at the Department of Economics of the University of Messina, and formerly he has been visiting professor at the Department of Business Administration of the University “Carlos III” of Madrid, Spain. He obtained a PhD in Economics and Management of Innovation at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa, Italy. Currently, at the University of Messina, he is Academic Coordinator of the Ph.D. in Economics, Management and Statistics. He has been teaching several courses on different subjects (such as Business Administration, Competitive Strategies, Innovation Management, New Product Development, Marketing Management, Strategic Marketing), in several languages (English, Spanish and Italian), in several academic institutions and at different academic levels (both at the bachelor level, the master level, and the PhD level). He participated in several national and international research projects (e.g., PON, PRIN and FISR, funded by the Italian Minister of University and Research; TSER, STRATA and others, funded by the European Commission within various Framework Programs; and various projects funded by the Spanish Minister of Education and Science). His research interests are in the field of innovation and technology management and focus on several complementary aspects, such as technology licensing strategies, technology transfer processes (both from firms to firms, and from universities to firms) and management of intellectual property rights. His works have been presented in several international conferences (such as AOM, SMS, RADMA, EURAM, EMAC) and published in relevant ISI journals such as California Management Review, the Journal of Technology Transfer, Technology Analysis & Strategic Management, and Research Policy.
