- 1997-1999: he participated at the SMAURN project funded by the Calabria region, under the POP 94/99 measure 4.4, with the following tasks: Research and calibration of a model based on Neural Networks and data processing relating to atmospheric pollution in the area of Villa S.Giovanni;
- 2002-2005: component of the VER12 initiative of the ICARO Project, funded under the PON by MIUR, he carried out the monitoring project of university orientation actions and the relative database, participating in the drafting of the final report.
- 2004: he was appointed by the CORTA (Center for guidance and tutoring of the University of Messina) as "expert in the development of result and impact indicators";
- 2006: member of the VER20 initiative of the ICARO Project and of the VAL Project (Val.Ori.) For the evaluation of guidance actions funded by MIUR, again in the context of the PON;
