Professor Santo Cristarella, born in Bovalino (Calabria Region) 08/11/1957. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine 20/12/1983 from the University of Messina, Italy. Enabled to practice as a veterinarian in the session of April 1984. Won a study Scholarship from the Sicily Region for a research project on “The infertility of the small male domestic ruminants (rams, goats) in relation to atherosclerotic vascular, and extrinsic and extrinsic testicular disease" during the period 1987 -1988. Professor Cristarella’s scientific research (75 publications) has been devoted to the study of diseases of the genital tract, both male and female, in different animal species, with special analysis of the structural and clinico-pathological aspects.
