Scientific activity: The scientific research was carried out in collaboration with the Arbeitsgruppe Pferd di Essen (Germania) and with the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, University of Córdoba, Spain.
The scientific activity (No. 241 publications) was carried out on topics related to neuro-endocrine (total and free iodothyronines, beta-endorphin, ACTH, cortisol, serotonin, sexual hormones) and functional variables in domestic animals, with particular reference to Equine Physiology (confined and transported stallions, sport horses, equine assisted therapy, donkeys, cattle, horses, weaning and growing lambs and foals, milking stress in dairy cows and donkeys, barren and pregnancy mares), in aquatic organisms and reptiles.
Component and treasurer of Executive Committee of the Italian Society for Veterinary Physiology.
