Master Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at the University of Palermo, PhD in Production Engineering at the University of Palermo, Since may 2005 is Associate Professor of Mechanical Technology (SSD ING-IND16-TECHNOLOGIES AND SYSTEMS) at the Department Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Construction, and Environmental Applied Mathematics, University of Messina.

PLASTIC DEFORMATION OF METAL MATERIALS, CUTTING PROCESSES , STUDY OF MECHANICAL AND ADHESIVES JOININGS, MECHANICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS, STUDY OF MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ORTHODONTIC WIRES IN SHAPE MEMORY ALLOYS, STUDY AND DEVELOPMENT OF ECO-MATERIALS SUITABLE FOR INDUSTRIAL AND CIVIL APPLICATIONS
