GIUDICE Elisabetta

Prof. Elisabetta Giudice is full Professor of Veterinary Internal Medicine at the University of Messina Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
Prof. Elisabetta Giudice took the degree in Veterinary Medicine cum laude at the University of Messina. In 1994 she obtained the PhD title in “Subtropical haemoparasites diseases ”.
She is teacher of "Companion animals therapy" and "Large animals therapy " at the University of Messina.
She has taught post-graduate courses at the University of Messina:
- Master in "Hyppology",
- Advanced course in "Pet Therapy: animal-assisted activity and therapy",
- Specialization courses in: “Bovine Clinics”; “Parassitology”; "Pathology and clinics of companion animals"; "Physiopathology of reproduction of domestic animals"; "Rearing, hygiene and pathology of aquatic species and monitoring of by-products".
She is member of the PhD Board in “Veterinary Ophthalmology”, at the University of Messina.
She is member of Editorial Board of the following international journals:

- Research Journal of Veterinary Sciences,
- Asian Journal of Animal Sciences,
- International Journal of Diary Sciences,

She has been member of the committee of representation of the University of Messina in the signature of the “Memorandum of Understanding” with the Bangladesh Agricultural University of Mymensingh.

She has published more than 170 articles in professional journals, many of which citated in PubMed and Scopus (papers 179, h-index 20, citation 1613, Scopus data bank).
She is associate to several national and international scientific societies.
Currently, she has passed the second of the three steps of the itinerary in "Veterinary emergency and critical care", organized by SCIVAC, which is expected to end in September 2013.
