La pancia e le sue polirematiche. Analisi del significato e del semantic prosody di alcuni usi emergenti

Questo studio cerca di definire il significato letterale della parola "pancia" appoggiandosi alle registrazioni dei principali dizionari italiani e ai tradizionali usi figurativi della parola. Una volta acquisito questo primo obiettivo, indica un nuovo significato figurativo della parola emergente nei mass media negli ultimi 30 anni e due unità polirematiche contenenti "pancia" dello stesso periodo, non ancora pienamente riconosciute dai dizionari sebbene ben radicate e rispondenti alla stessa relazione semantica con il significato base della parola base "pancia" dei significati tradizionali. Inoltre, verrà studiato l'ambiente grammaticale costruito attorno alle parole esaminate al fine di stabilire la prosodia semantica a volte vacillante, e le ragioni dietro di essa, della parola base e delle parole da essa generate. This study seeks to define the literal meaning of the word "pancia" leaning on the records of the major Italian dictionaries and the traditional figurative uses of the word. Once acquired this first objective, it points out one new figurative meaning of the word emerging in the mass-media over the last 30 years and two polywords containing pancia of about the same age, still not fully recognised by the dictionaries though well rooted and responding to the same semantic relation with the basic meaning of the stem word pancia as the traditional meanings. Also, the grammatical environment constructed around the words examined will be inquired in order to establish the sometimes wavering semantic prosody, and the reasons behind it, of the stem word and the words generated by it.
