Assessment Methods

Documentary evaluation of logbooks and medical records, possible repetition of skills. Assessment of suitability following a verification by a commission in charge made up of teachers responsible for teaching and according to a specific calendar. The review can be structured as an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), as far as applicable.

Course program Communication and behaviour (2 h) Drafting of certificates and reports Compilation of medical records Clinical examination (20 h) Manage a clinical case of obstetric-gynecological and andrological relevance Assist the surgeon in the operating room for obstetric-gynecological and andrological interventions Management of childbirth, postpartum and neonatal care Use of diagnostic imaging equipment (4 h) Interpret an ultrasound examination of the female and/or male genital apparatus Use of laboratory equipment and execution of standard tests (10 h) Perform cytological shot examination Perform dosage of progesterone Perform sampling, handling and evaluation of semen
