Ciclo annuale delle comunità zoo- e fitoplanctoniche dell'AMP "Isole Ciclopi" di Acicastello (Sicilia Orientale)

From March 2003 to March 2004, in the Marine Protected Area "Isole Ciclopi" of Acicastello (CT), the annual cycle in term of abundance and biodiversity of zoo- and phytoplanktonic communities was studied. The examined neritic ecosystem showed clear exchanges with the pelagic system, confirmed by the presence of typical planktonic communities
