Alcalinità totale e specifica nello Stretto di Messina

The authors refer data on total and specific alkalinity of waters in the Straits of Messina. The collected values are discussed also related with salinity and reference is made to results from several coastal areas of Tyrrhenian and Jonian seas. The alkalinity determinations usefulness to identify water masses in the Straits of Messina is emphasized.
