Radiography shows the presence of one foetus. The laparotomy reveals the recent death of the full-term foetus, the particular implantation site (tubo-ovarian complex) and the anatomical integrity of the uterine horns. Such events suggest the likelihood of a tubal pregnancy in this case. This frequenly reported in human beings, but never in the cat.
